WHAT IS A CHOCOLATE FOUNTAIN?

A chocolate fountain is an electric machine.  The chocolate is melted in the base, the warm liquid is then drawn up through the auger (Archimedes screw) where the melted chocolate cascades down the tiers, to create a fountain effect of flowing chocolate.  

WHAT TYPE OF EVENT IS A CHOCOLATE FOUNTAIN SUITABLE FOR?

A Chocolate fountain is suitable for any type of event where people love chocolate and you want to create a great centrepiece.  Weddings, christenings, parties, balls, corporate party, product launches, engagement party, film launch, Burns Night, cocktail party, New Years Eve party, Easter party, end of season party to name but a few. 

WHAT TYPE OF CHOCOLATE IS USED?

We only use the Finest Belgian chocolate, the most popular being milk although we also offer white and plain. If you require other flavours and colours please enquire.

HOW LONG CAN THE CHOCOLATE BE USED FOR?

The chocolate can run for many hours as it has a special area that keeps the chocolate warm and flowing.  

DOES THE CHOCOLATE OR DIPS CONTAIN NUTS?

We cannot guarantee the chocolate or the dips will not contain nuts.  

WHAT AREAS DO YOU COVER?

We cover Nationwide, Bicester, Oxford, Aylesbury, Banbury, Buckingham, Slough, Windsor, Eton, London, Uxbridge, Warwick, Birmingham.

WHO LOOKS AFTER THE FOUNTAIN?

Either 1 or 2 members of staff will stay with the fountain at all times, to make sure there is no double dipping and the area is kept clean and tidy at all times.  

DO YOU HAVE A HEALTH & HYGIENE POLICY?

We are strict at Soiree Delights on health & hygiene.  We also wear gloves when handling food, all fresh fruit is purchased on the day of the event and stored in the correct container when transporting to the event.  

We have health & hygiene certificates,and are registered with Environmental Health department and follow their guidelines for H.A.C.C.P, all our equipment is PAT tested, and we hold Public Liability Insurance. 

WHAT IS CHOCOLATE FOUNTAIN ETIQUETTE?

To ensure the smooth running of the fountain to help you and guests get the maximum pleasure, we at Soiree Delights have devised a few simple rules, to help guide everyone.  

• Please place only 1 or 2 items onto the skewer.  (You can visit the chocolate fountain as many times as you wish)
• Please use a plate provide on the dips table.  
• Please use a new skewer everytime you dip into the chocolate fountain (NO DOUBLE DIPPING)
